Troubleshooting for a GE Gas Range Oven not Heating
When you’re facing a problem with the GE gas range oven not heating, check the control settings. The control lock feature on range could be enabled. That feature is used to prevent unintentional activation of the oven controls. A lock icon is displayed on the control panel when the control is locked.
To unlock the controls, press and hold the Gas/Control Lockout button or Lock Controls pad for three seconds. If the Lock Controls pad is not visible, you can try pressing the COOK TIME and TIMER ON/OFF pads simultaneously for three seconds. The lock icon on the control panel will disappear and you should be able to start the oven.
