Infinite Switch Replacement
When the cooktop is not working, you may find that the problem is caused by a faulty infinite switch. The infinite switch has electrical contacts that turn a surface element on and off and controls the heat level of the element. When you’re unable to reset the circuit breaker because it trips again as soon as try to reset it, you can suspect that faulty infinite switch may be preventing the cooktop from working.
